I was buzzing when I walked to the cinema where the BBFC were holding the launch day.
I got inside and enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast.
Time flew by, and before I knew it, I was ushered into a room where we watched Inside Out 2. The film was great and really funny. I am so glad they chose it for us to watch.
After the film finished, we had a discussion about what we thought the rating should be and why. The discussions were really interesting, because I got to hear other people's opinions and talk with a BBFC Compliance Officer whose job it is to help decide film ratings.

I had a super lunch and a big chat with my new friends, Milo and Arlo.
After the amazing lunch, I got to learn a bit more about film classification, reasons why films might be classified in different ways and why classifications are put in place.
After our refreshment break, we had go at drawing a picture based on Toy Story 5 that we could enter into the BBFC Create the Card competition and get a chance to have our own artwork displayed as Toy Story 5's Black Cards.
I would like to thank the BBFC so much for that wonderful experience.

After having a wonderful time at the BBFC Youth Panel Launch Day, I decided to tell my school about the experience. I went to school on Friday with my BBFC things in my bag, ready to tell everyone about it in assembly. Assembly came and I grabbed my merch out of my bag, I told everybody about the experience and showed them items like my ‘U’ and ‘PG’ paddles that I used for voting. Suddenly, a great round of applause rose from the audience and I gleamed with pride.
I will always remember that day, and I look forward to my next two years on the BBFC Kids Panel.
