Statutory Classifiers Minutes

The Statutory Classifiers are the BBFC’s Chief Executive, President and Vice-Presidents. The minutes of their meetings provide an account of the monthly discussions about BBFC classification policies and any individual age rating decisions that need consideration by the Statutory Classifiers.

The BBFC is committed to operating a transparent and open classification system. We publish an annual report, which provides a review of the activities and classification decisions of the BBFC over the calendar year, and as of April 2016, we also publish the minutes of each Statutory Classifiers meeting. Additional members of staff may attend these meetings to discuss a particular issue with the Statutory Classifiers.

It is our policy to keep these minutes on our site for two years. Older minutes are available on request at press@bbfc.co.uk
