violence
The mild violence occurs during a scene in which a young girl is involved in a squabble with a boy at her school. She momentarily turns half-wolf and lashes out with a claw. There is a small spray of blood as she scratches the boy's ear. The boy is later seen with a bandage around his head.
threat and horror
The mild threat occurs during a scene in which a young boy falls into a fast-flowing river and is swept away. He is seen limp and helpless below the surface, as the swift current carries him along. At first it appears that he might have drowned, but he quickly revives and is none the worse for the experience.
additional issues
A mild love scene at the beginning of the film includes sight of a young woman's bare shoulders. Her partner is also briefly shown embracing her with his arm in the form of a large wolf paw. It's a tender moment, not frightening, and it's an important part of the story that he is a 'wolf man' who changes between being a human and a wolf, explaining why their children are half-human, half 'wolf children'. WOLF CHILDREN also includes a single subtitled use of 'damn'.
