discrimination
A woman references a traumatic incident from her childhood in which her racist neighbours aggressively tried to kick their front door in, whilst shouting 'n****r' at the family. There are other mentions to the racist behaviour people experienced after arriving in Britain, such as a son describing how his mother, a nurse, was shouted at by a patient and told to "take her Black hands" off them. Racism is clearly challenged by the film and people positively describe how they and their families overcame discrimination.
