Wild Foxes

Moderate violence includes kicks, punches and a headbutt, as well as occasional crunchy boxing sequences. There are sustained scenes of school bullying. Another scene contains a reference to a scar on a person’s leg having been inflicted by his father when he was a young child.

A group of bullies restrain another person and attempt to strike his arm with a baseball bat. A scene shows a person slipping and falling from a cliff, resulting in serious injury.

There is use of strong language (‘f**k’, motherf**ker’). Milder terms include ‘putain’, ‘pussy’, ‘bitch’, ‘hooker’, ‘shit’, 'merde', ‘balls’, ‘piss’ and ‘asshole’.

There are verbal references to masturbation, sex work, virginity and being ‘horny’, as well as a use of the term ‘f**k’ in the sexual sense.

A young athlete whose training is hindered by chronic pain and panic attacks is scolded and threatened with disciplinary action by his coach, and subjected to increasingly aggressive and violent bullying by his peers.

During an aggressive encounter, a male character directs sexual remarks at a female classmate.

A teenager who is experiencing mental health issues and psychosomatic pain exhibits self-harming behaviour, including repeatedly striking his head with a drink can and slamming his affected arm in a locker door. These acts of self-harm occasionally result in bloody detail.

There are brief but strong images of bloody wounds while a patient is being treated in hospital. Milder bloody injury detail occurs in the aftermath of violence and self-harm. Other scenes feature sight of dead foxes with blood on their fur.

A character experiences panic attacks while recovering from a serious injury.
