Ghouls attack people violently in scenes that often include strong gore. Other scenes include moments of gun violence and attacks with improvised weapons.

People are stalked and killed by demonic entities in scenes of strong horror, some of which include jump scares. There are scenes in which people threaten other people, including with guns.

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k'), as well as other terms such as 'bitch', 'screw', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'ass', 'asshole' and 'Jesus'. There is also the middle finger gesture.

There are moderate sex references, including to sexting, and a thrusting gesture. Two characters kiss and lie down on a bed, with no nudity.

A person calls another person a 'dyke' in a homophobic manner.

Vivid and unsettling visions depict a young woman with a needle sticking out of her arm. There are also verbal references to the protagonist's drug addiction, including to an overdose. Visual references include a translucent baggie containing drugs and a man dealing drugs to teenagers.

A person cuts into their own hand. Another person talks about their experience of overdosing in the past.

People suffer horrific injuries brought on by encounters with fantastical forces. Strongest moments include injuries sustained in a fatal car crash and when a person is crushed in heavy machinery. Bloodshed features heavily in these and other scenes.

A teenager drives drunk, and is berated for doing so.
