Whalefall

Sea creatures engage in predatory behaviour, attacking each other with impactful blows and bites, which results in some bloody detail. A character repeatedly stabs a sea creature in an attempt to save themselves.

There are sustained sequences in which a person is trapped inside a live whale and is in danger of becoming crushed, consumed and losing their oxygen supply.

There is infrequent use of strong language ('f**k'); milder terms include 'son of a bitch', 'ass', 'shit', 'screw', 'hell', 'God' and 'damn'.

It is implied that a person takes their own life; there are also accompanying verbal references to a person's suicide.

A person sustains bloody wounds, burst ear drums and burns, which are sometimes depicted with close-up detail. There is brief sight of a person's broken ankle in a diving suit. A whale sustains cuts and bites when it is attacked by other sea creatures.

A family is shown to be bereaved by the passing of a loved one; a character recalls difficult memories from their childhood and younger years.
