We're Nothing at All

A frenzied stabbing attack results in blood spurts and strong bloody aftermath detail. A man’s face is bloodied during a violent confrontation with a homophobic assailant. There are also scenes involving domestic abuse, including one in which a man physically attacks his adult son for coming out as gay.

Sustained flashbacks show two people preparing to commit an act of mass murder.

There is use of strong language (‘f**k’, ‘motherf**ker’). Milder terms include ‘whore’, ‘hooker’, ‘bitch’, ‘prick’, ‘cock’, ‘dickhead’, ‘screw’, ‘piss’, ‘bastard’, ‘ass’ and ‘shit’.

There is a sequence of masturbation. Later, a character attempts to initiate sex by cupping his partner's genitals beneath his underwear. There are also occasional verbal and visual references to sex work.

A person takes an unidentified pill in a nightclub bathroom. Other scenes feature verbal references to drug misuse and addiction.

A scene contains graphic verbal references to child sexual abuse.

Scenes related to suicide and suicidal ideation run throughout.

There are strong images of gruesomely damaged corpses and body parts in the aftermath of an explosion. Another scene depicts bloody detail resulting from a knife attack.

The film contains prolonged upsetting scenes of grief and emotional distress.
