Scenes include the murder of a pregnant woman, with the removal of an infant from her womb. Graphic violence includes throat slitting, stabbings and decapitations, resulting in bloody detail. Fight sequences feature sustained and repeated blows, sword fights, and battlefield scenes resulting in bloody aftermath. In one scene, a man is punched repeatedly in the face and has sand forced into his mouth. Wrestling and combat scenes include people being thrown and sustaining blows to the head.

Supernatural elements include demonic possession and malevolent entities. In another disturbing sequence, a newborn is taken from its mother and thrown to a guard. Prisoners are held captive, with scenes of people being abducted or held hostage. There are also sustained sequences of suspense involving villains threatening others.

There are moderate verbal sex references.

A man is encouraged to rape a female captive. Women attempt to sexually coerce men into having sex with them. There are graphic verbal rape threats and several references to rape. References are made to non-consensual fertility rituals.

In a disturbing sequence, the mangled remains of an infant are shown after having being killed during a ritual. Bodies with blood feature, and a character spits blood after being beaten. People consume blood and flesh during ritualistic scenes.

Upsetting scenes show people grieving over the bodies of dead loved ones.
