Vilayath Budha

There are group fight scenes in which people are repeatedly kicked, punched and thrown. In one scene, a person's breath is briefly cut off. In another, a person is thrown into boiling liquid. Fight scenes occasionally involve weapons. A flashback scene shows a teacher whipping a student with a cane, leaving him with a bloody injury.

Scenes include threat with weapons, including chainsaws and guns. Milder scenes of threat include an intense car chase and a person losing control of their vehicle, causing it to roll backwards down a steep mountain.

Use of bad language includes 'whore' accompanied by milder terms ('shit', 'crap', 'bloody', 'piss', 'turd', 'damn', 'God', 'screwed', 'hell').

It is implied that two people are having sex through close-ups of hands on skin and feet movements, although this scene lacks strong detail or nudity. References are made to sex work.

There is occasional sight of blood in the aftermath of violence. A child's mouth is covered with vomit after she is bitten by a snake.

People fear a man intends to take his own life when they see him standing at the edge of a well; it is quickly revealed he has no intention of jumping, however.

A prolonged scene concerns the death of a child, with focus on the distress of the bereaved.

Characters are seen smoking cigarettes.
