Unsympathetic characters humiliate a family belonging to a lower caste and incite violence towards them, resulting in their deaths. Characters strongly oppose inter-caste relationships. People express discriminatory attitudes towards a woman aspiring to join a boxing class due to her caste and gender. However, these attitudes are challenged and discrimination is clearly not condoned by the work as a whole.
