After being grabbed by an aggressive man, a woman clutches her chest and falls to the floor. She is quickly rushed to hospital, where her condition appears critical. A man is kidnapped by a gang dressed in black balaclavas; however, it is quickly seen to be a prank.

Infrequent strong language ('f**k') is accompanied by milder terms such as 'shit', 'ass', 'butt', 'hell', 'damn', 'screw' and 'Jesus'. A person makes the middle finger gesture.

Occasional moderate sex references include a man dressed as Santa revealing that he is actually a stripper and a couple passionately embracing whilst removing their clothing; however, there is no nudity or strong detail.

A brief and implied reference is made to people being homophobic; their behaviour is clearly not condoned.

There is an implied and humorous reference to marijuana misuse.

A young girl runs away and tries to hitch rides across the country. In one scene, she climbs into the cab of a lorry with a strange man; however, her plan is interrupted and a woman emphasises how dangerous her behaviour is.

A old woman has a heart attack and is shown to be seriously ill in hospital as her worried friends and family sit by her side. A child becomes distressed at the thought of the woman dying.

Adult characters are occasionally shown drinking and smoking cigarettes.
