There are scenes of prolonged, and occasionally sustained, threat. People are menaced by a fantastical creature whose clawed hand strokes their faces and necks. A person is grabbed by a German soldier, and is dragged into a room where she is shot and injured. This scene is followed by brief sight of a cut to the person's head. People are scared by sudden off-screen noises, and a disconnected phone rings repeatedly.

Strong language ('f**k') occurs, as well as milder terms ('bitch', 'wanker', 'dick', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'hell', 'God', 'Jesus', 'Christ'), and a rude hand gesture.
