A character with a hearing disability is tormented with loud sounds that will cause him distress and potentially further damage his hearing, after which it is implied that something is sadistically pushed into his ear. More moderate scenes of violence include punches, kicks, a headbutt and blows with objects. A person is shot, although the impact is not shown.

There are several scenes of threat, including gun threat during tense confrontations. A person is kidnapped and held captive.

There is frequent use of strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker', 'c**ksucker'). Milder terms include 'pussy', 'prick', 'bitch', 'dick', 'shit', 'asshole', 'piss', 'moron', 'damn', 'Jesus' and 'God'.

Photographs featuring female nudity are briefly seen when they are removed from a safe. There are verbal and visual sex references, including a crude thrusting gesture made with hands and hips. A couple are seen embracing and kissing in the lead-up to sex and then in bed after implied but unseen sex.

There are references to discrimination, including brief verbal references to the Holocaust.

Cocaine is shown being snorted and there is sight of cocaine packages. There is smoking of what appears to be a marijuana joint.

There is sight of blood, cuts and bruising in the aftermath of violence.

People deal with bereavement and attend a funeral. References are made to illnesses and there are scenes in which an ill person is seen in hospital.

Adults are occasionally seen smoking cigarettes and vaping. There is occasional sight of alcohol consumption.
