There is strong violence throughout, including shooting, stabbing and slashing, frequently accompanied by bloody injury detail. Other violence includes punches, kicks, head butts and use of improvised weapons, and a scene of torture. A man punches a woman's face, knocking her unconscious.
There is a comic sequence in which a woman mistakenly believes she is about to be raped, and another in which she wonders whether she has been sexually assaulted while unconscious. In another scene, she is briefly harassed by a stranger. There is drug misuse, as well as strong threat and moderate sex references. Strong language ('f**k') is infrequent, and there are milder terms including 'bitch', 'slut', 'shit', 'bastard', 'piss' and 'asshole'. There is also use of discriminatory language ('faggot'), and other discriminatory views are also expressed. There are verbal references to domestic abuse.
