violence
A man is repeatedly kicked and punched while trying to protect his elderly father from a knife-wielding attacker. A man is rendered unconscious by a blow to the chest with a rock. A father is shown slapping and belittling his adult son, but he eventually apologises for his behaviour, leading to a reconciliation. There are also brief verbal references to children being beaten by their fathers for misbehaviour.
There are infrequent sequences of threat, including brief mild scenes depicting a car crash and another involving the kidnapping of a child. Bad language includes ‘bugger’, ‘bloody’, ‘piss’, ‘moron’, ‘damn’, ‘God’ and ‘hell’. There are also infrequent mild scenes of emotional upset and bereavement; for example, in one scene a man who has been left partially paralysed by a stroke becomes distressed when he falls to the floor and struggles to get up.
