A man is physically and verbally abusive towards his wife in several scenes, including a sequence in which he leaves her bloodied and beaten on the floor. Afterwards, the woman faces pressure from her parents to return to her husband after she leaves him, despite his blatant actions. A woman harasses a married man after they develop feelings for one another; she follows him, breaks into his house, threatens to tell his wife and blackmails him to leave the country with her.

A man and woman, who are both married, meet in secret and rekindle their feelings for one another. There are also mild verbal references to sex and innuendo.
