THE WANDERING EARTH II is a Mandarin language science fiction action adventure in which an international mission is launched to pull an endangered Earth out of the Moon’s orbit and move it to a new place in the solar system.

Moderate violence includes rioters invading a scientific facility and being beaten with batons by guards in undetailed fashion. There are stylised martial arts blows and kicks, as well as head butts, in fighting between two groups on board a space vessel. There are fantastical aerial dogfights between fighter jets and explosive drones.

There is moderate, occasionally sustained and intense, threat from natural disasters caused by anomalies in space, and scenes in which astronauts on the Moon seek safety from a lunar storm or space vessels are struck by rocks and debris.
