violence
There are extended sequences of footage filmed from a US Army helicopter, taken in 2007 during the conflict in Iraq, showing gunfire from it injuring and killing Iraqi civilians and news agency personnel, with sight of dead bodies strewn around the area of the attack. The footage is from what has become known as the ‘Collateral Murder’ video, leaked to and published by Wikileaks in 2010, which has appeared in several previous documentary works.
language
There is infrequent strong language (‘f**k’), as well as milder terms such as ‘prick’, ‘bullshit’, ‘bugger’, ‘bastard’, ‘bullshit’, ‘damn’, ‘hell’ and ‘God’.
sexual violence and sexual threat
There are generalised references to accusations of rape brought against a man, and the legal proceedings that resulted, which included what is claimed as hostile testimony against the accused by someone alleged to be a "sexual predator against boys".
theme
There are references to a man’s fragile mental health and suicidal state, which are claimed to be the consequence of psychological torture and prolonged imprisonment. A teenage boy becomes emotional as he talks about surviving a gun attack, and there are other upsetting scenes centred on bereavement.
