The Testament of Ann Lee

Characters are restrained and repeatedly punched and whipped. A person is struck in the face causing them to spit blood and another is hit with a rock with some bloody detail. A father repeatedly whips the hands of his child, though this is visually discreet.

Scenes of threat include characters being grabbed and pinned to the floor and a building is swarmed by threatening characters.

Scenes of strong sex features flogging, thrusting detail, sexualised nudity and implied oral sex. An illustration features graphic sexual detail and there are verbal references to sex.

Characters are seen with bloody injuries in the aftermath of violence and a dead body is prepared for a funeral. Blood is shown in the aftermath of scenes of childbirth.

A distressing childbirth scene features nudity, bloody detail and partial sight of a dead infant.
