The Shepherd and the Bear

Hunters fire guns at animals, although impact is not shown on screen. There are references to animal attacks on humans as well as humans shooting creatures. A shepherd is encouraged to discipline his dog with physical violence.

A video is shown in which people wearing balaclavas and wielding guns threaten to hunt bears. There are dramatic moments in which animals run away from unseen threats and flares are fired in an attempt to scare away bears. A man recounts his fear when being faced with a bear up-close.

There is use of strong language (‘f**k’, ‘motherf**ker’), accompanied by milder terms (‘shit’, ‘bullshit’ and ‘crap’).

There is sight of animal carcasses in the aftermath of hunting and animal attacks. Some scenes contain sight of blood during animal butchery.

A struggling pig is prepared for slaughter, although the actual killing occurs offscreen.
