A person is at risk of death when another attempts to blackmail them by knowingly feeding them a food item they are allergic to. There are also comic scenes of knife and gun threat.

There is infrequent very strong language ('c**t') as well as more frequent use of strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker'), as well as milder terms including 'wanker', 'pussy', 'bitch', 'whore', 'dick', 'balls', 'shit', 'piss', 'arse', 'ass', 'crap', 'hell', 'God' and 'Jesus'.

There are numerous references to sexual activity, including to masturbation, oral sex, orgasms, erections and erotic asphyxiation; some of these references are occasionally crude. A brief scene of sex includes thrusting but no nudity.

Characters are seen smoking joints. There are references to cocaine use, including brief sight of a character using a crack pipe. In one scene, people hallucinate after unknowingly consuming magic mushrooms; verbal references to hallucinogens also occur.

There are several comic verbal references to suicide.

Characters vomit as a result of alcohol misuse. Other scenes show people urinating.

A woman intentionally consumes a food item that she is allergic to in order to illicit a comic reaction or attention from a loved one. In all instances, she is swiftly injected with an epi-pen. A person is sprayed in the face with an aerosol.

In a brief scene, a character happens upon a beached whale which they subsequently save.

Characters are seen behaving in a drunk and disorderly manner.
