Scenes of strong violence include characters being shot in the stomach, resulting in bloody detail, and the repeated bludgeoning of a man using a spade. It is implied that a man has cut the tongue out of another using a knife and there is sight of him holding the body part with his hands soaked in blood. There are frequent references to murder.
