References are made to masturbation, oral sex, ejaculation, erections, pubic hair, penis size, bestiality, incest and strippers. Some of these occur in the context of crude teenage conversation and verbal games. A crude drawing of an ejaculating penis is seen on a whiteboard, and there are references to adultery.

There is use of the term 'spaz' as an insult.

There are scenes of self-harm, including sight of wounds and blood. References are also made to self-harm, including sight of scars on a person's body.

There is sight of a severed finger with blood. Other scenes include cuts, abrasions and rashes on skin. In one scene, a person is seen with bloody injuries in the aftermath of self-harm.

A boy is seen rolling a cigarette using ground nutmeg.

Teenagers are seen drinking alcohol underage.
