The Old Woman With the Knife

Scenes include stabbings and slashings with blades, including sight of throats being cut, eyes being stabbed and people being impaled, with accompanying blood spurts. In some scenes, blades are pushed further into wounds and twisted in order to cause maximum pain. People are struck with bullets, often causing large blood spurts, while hand-to-hand fighting features heavy punches, kicks and other blows, as well as strangulation and choke holds. Scenes of domestic abuse include women and children being struck and an elderly person being violently humiliated and degraded by a care worker.

People are threatened, tied up and kidnapped, including a young child who is held captive in a sack. A woman is thrown into a pit and threatened with being buried alive.

There is occasional use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms including 'son of a bitch', 'bitch', 'prick', 'bastard', 'shit', 'piss', 'ass', 'screw', 'crap', 'God', 'Jesus Christ', 'hell', 'damn' and 'goddamn'.

There are verbal references to drug users and drug overdoses, as well as brief sight of drug users who have died from implied drug overdoses.

A man sexually threatens a woman but is violently prevented from going any further. Another predatory man is seen touching a woman without her consent, before she kills him with a hammer.

People take their own lives and there are verbal references to suicide.

People are shown with injuries and bruises after violent encounters. There is extensive sight of blood on faces, bodies and clothing, as well as in pools beneath dead and injured people. A briefcase is opened revealing severed fingers.

A naked man is strangled to death during a violent encounter, with his buttocks visible and fleeting sight of his genitals. There is also brief sight of an incontinent elderly man's buttocks after he soils himself.

A person exploits another's allergies in order to temporarily paralyse them.

People are shown grieving and there are references to death, bereavement and illness. People become distraught when a child is kidnapped.

Adults are shown drinking alcohol, occasionally to drunken excess. There are brief instances of smoking.
