THE INITIATION OF SARAH is a US horror film in which a shy college graduate joins an unpopular sorority house where she learns about her unusual powers.
violence
There are scenes of fantasy violence in which a young woman uses telekinetic powers against others. In one sequence, for example, she traps two women in a shower with scalding hot water. In another scene, she causes a raging fire in a garden maze, trapping various people inside temporarily.
sexual violence and sexual threat
A man invites a young woman for a swim and then makes physical and verbal advances towards her, despite her lack of consent.
additional issues
There are scenes in which members of a sorority bully those from an opposing house. This includes a scene in which a young woman is tricked, before being pelted with rotten fruit and mud. Such behaviour does not go unchallenged, however. There is very mild bad language ('hell' and 'damn'). There are undetailed verbal references to suicide. There are also scenes containing brief mild injury detail.
