One man punches another, leaving his face and shirt bloodied. The film contains frequent verbal and visual references to school shootings, although the accompanying detail is not graphic. Other scenes feature references to childhood bullying.

There is infrequent use of very strong language (‘c**t’), as well as more frequent use of strong language (‘f**k’). Milder terms include ‘bitch’, ‘pussy’, ‘ass’ and ‘shit’, in addition to use of the ‘middle finger’ gesture.

A short flashback shows a person smoking heroin, while other scenes contain occasional verbal references to drug misuse and addiction.

There are infrequent and undetailed comic references to child abuse and sexual harassment.

A scene taking place in a character's imagination shows the heavily bloodied body of a child in the wreckage of a crashed car. A dream sequence features images of bloodied corpses strewn across a room in the aftermath of a massacre.
