The Continental: From The World Of John Wick

There are scenes of gun and knife threat. A man takes his own life in order to prevent a criminal from targeting his family; characters are threatened with torture and death. A baby and its sleeping, intoxicated mother are caught in a room where a gunfight and crunchy hand to hand combat scene occurs. There are car chases and crashes.

A woman wearing a bomb vest walks through a public place, intending to detonate it. People are threatened with guns, including when a man with a sniper rifle trains his sights on children playing below the roof he is standing on. Blood and wounds are visible on people's bodies in the aftermath of violence, and in one instance a body is seen lying in a pool of blood. There are fleeting and undetailed references to child sex abuse. References are made to an extra-marital affair two people have been conducting. A woman accuses a man of a grudge against her family because of their race. People are seen grieving for the deceased.

There is use of strong language ('motherf**ker', 'c**ksucker', 'f**k'), a middle finger gesture and milder terms including 'ass', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'son of a bitch', 'God', 'Jesus', 'hell' and 'damn'. There are scenes of strong bloody violence which include shootings, stabbings, slashings, beatings, and use of explosives. People are clubbed to death with golf clubs, choked with telephone chords, impaled with pool cues and struck with machetes and axes. There is also aftermath detail of dead bodies and severed limbs. A character makes racist comments about a black man's ethnicity, and there are references to a man's name making him sound like a paedophile. There are moments of gun threat and a home invasion in which a woman is bound and gagged.
