THE ANTICHRIST is an Italian horror film, from 1974, in which a woman seeking help for a psychological injury becomes possessed by a demonic entity.

threat and horror
There are frequent scenes of strong supernatural threat and horror in which a possessed woman verbally abuses others and fantastically threatens them with levitating objects thrown in their direction, or causes lights to flicker and the room to shake. The woman vomits coloured liquid onto characters, and in one scene, conjures a burning coal which she presses into a man's hand, causing him to yell in pain. Disturbing images include sight of a man squeezing and pulling the head off a frog, resulting in bloody detail.
sex
There are strong sex references, including remarks alluding to fellatio and incest. In a ritualistic scene, a woman lies naked on a stone table; a crowd of nude individuals gather around and watch as the woman has sex with a masked man.
A woman disrobes in front of a man, revealing breast and buttock nudity before it is implied they engage in sexual activity. There is use of strong language (‘c*cksucker’, ‘f**k’) as well as milder terms (‘whore’, ‘piss’, ‘shit’, ‘damn’). In the aftermath of a car crash, a dead woman’s head is seen pressed against the windscreen of a car, with bloody detail. A man climbs to a wall, being chased by other men, and jumps off, taking his own life. A man is fantastically strangled by a disembodied hand. Characters smoke cigarettes.
