A brawl features repeated blows and use of improvised weapons. Characters are slapped in various scenes and a person is briefly choked.

People are chased by others wielding guns and bladed weapons. Two people fall from height into a pit and a man claims to be possessed by a spirit. However, scenes are comic in tone and end reassuringly.

There is infrequent use of moderate bad language ('prick'), as well as milder terms such as 'bloody', 'piss', 'fricking', 'damn', 'hell' and 'God'.

There are mild sex references and innuendo, including a mention to a false rumour of pregnancy.

References are made to suicide. During a flashback sequence, a person is seen preparing to take their own life, however, this is presented discreetly.

Infrequent scenes of very mild rude humour relating to urination occur.

There are upsetting scenes centred around death and bereavement, such as people grieving at a funeral.

There are also several scenes of, and references to, alcohol consumption and drunkenness. Adults are also occasionally shown smoking.
