An unpleasant and adulterous man displays abusively controlling behaviours towards his wife including repeatedly questioning her about who she is sitting near on a train. In one scene, she remarks that he could become violent if he saw her talking to another man. His behaviour is condemned by other characters. A family emotionally describe the poverty they have experienced since the coronavirus caused them to lose their house and jobs.
