Animal creatures occasionally crash-land into objects and fall down with a large impact, although this is presented in a comic slapstick manner with no lasting injuries. A bird is briefly bitten and thrown aside by a predator, but soon recovers.

There are intense chase sequences and scenes in which animals are attacked and frightened by larger creatures; this includes loud noises and jump scares. A villainous animated character is depicted as being on fire, with large sharp teeth and a menacing voice, which may be unsettling for younger viewers. A child character makes a comic verbal reference to 'blood and guts' and other animals being eaten.

A creature is comically covered in animal 'dung' to mask his scent from a predator.

There are infrequent upsetting scenes centred around death and bereavement. Animals express concerns that they will starve if they cannot replenish their food supply.
