Scenes of strong violence include a character's face being repeatedly punched with bloody detail and a repeated stabbing. Moderate violence includes shootings and fist fights featuring headbutts, head slams, kicks and strikes with knees and elbows. There are references to physical child abuse, in which children are forced to participate in an underage fighting ring.

Scenes of threat include a woman finding a knife-wielding intruder in her home, a character attempting to save a person who is hanging and characters trying to locate and rescue a person who is buried alive.

There is infrequent use of strong language ('c**ksucker', 'f**k') and milder terms such as 'son of a bitch', 'asshole', 'shit', 'hell', 'screw', 'damn', 'Jesus' and 'God'.

There are undetailed references to suicide.

A dead body is seen with bloody eye sockets and there is brief sight of a severed ear, eyes and tongue. Characters are seen with bloody injuries in the aftermath of violence.
