Scenes of discrimination occur in which a man is bullied about his eye condition, resulting in one scene in which the character briefly considers an act of self-harm. However, he receives positive support from loved ones and discrimination is condemned throughout.

There is brief sight of an injured person's foot being treated.

A person is found having taken their own life. Another suicide attempt is seen though the person is reassured and helped to overcome his suicidal ideation.

A group of men spy on women going to the toilet, though there is clear condemnation for this behaviour.

Upsetting sequences include people struggling as victims of bullying, and people grieving the loss of loved ones.
