Spy

There are intense, prolonged shootouts in which people are killed, as well as bouts of hand-to-hand combat featuring punches, kicks, neck and limb-breaks and stabbings. These scenes of violence lack strong detail or bloodshed, there are also cold-blooded, personalised shootings in which victims are shot in the head and body, with sight of blood spurts.

There is moderate gun threat as rival groups confront each other, and as people are shot at during road chases. A man is thrown from a motorcycle and clings to the edge of a high bridge, but he is soon rescued. A bomb explodes in a subway station, but there is no sight of casualties.

There is mild bad language (‘bloody’, shit’), as well as very mild terms such as ‘chetta na kodaka’, ‘God’, ‘damn’ and ‘hell’.

A woman performs a belly dance for a man who interacts with her in a mildly suggestive way.

The contents of a man’s bag are mistaken for marijuana and an intelligence agent working undercover pretends he is interested in buying drugs.

There is occasional sight of bloody injury on faces during bouts of fighting. An old photographic image in a newspaper features a dead body, but without strong detail.

There are mild upsetting scenes centred on bereavement.

Adult characters consume alcohol, smoke cigarettes and use hookahs.
