A woman's childhood recollections include those in which she suffered domestic abuse, and during which she talks about her mother chasing her whilst armed with a knife. Another recollection concerns a woman's grandmother being beaten by her womanising husband who also took other female partners and moved another woman into the couple's marital home.

The film contains infrequent strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms (for example, 'pussy', 'dick', 'shit', 'bastard', 'crap', 'God', 'butt', 'damn').

A woman talks about sexual role play with a male partner in a scene which includes strong sex references, including to penetration. A woman jokes that a woman who catches a wedding bouquet will have the opportunity to select a male partner on the basis of their 'dick pics'.

Women recall being fat-shamed and told that they were 'ugly' when they were younger. A woman talks about coming out as gay to her father, and also recollects being shunned and ignored by him. Discrimination is challenged, clearly disapproved of and is not condoned by the work as a whole.

During a prolonged and harrowing sequence which lasts for several minutes, a woman becomes distressed whilst recalling repeated rapes when she was a teenager. She explains that the first rape, which was accompanied by knife threat and the presence of the man's dogs to quell her resistance, also took her virginity. The woman also explains how powerless she felt at the time, and also that her mother dismissed her subsequent rape claims. There are also references to women receiving unwanted 'dick pics' on dating websites.

A woman gets her period and blood briefly trickles down her legs.

There is frequent full natural female nudity which lacks a sexual context as it features within a sauna retreat setting.

Scenes of emotional upset include prolonged references to abortion, and to stillbirth. Women become upset whilst talking about these traumatic experiences; however, they are comforted by other women who respond with sensitivity and compassion.
