Strong action violence includes stabbings, punches, kicks, headbutts, repeated blows to heads and bodies, and the implied breaking of bones. Exchanges of gunfire occasionally result in blood spurts. There is also use of improvised weapons, including bottles and metal chains, as well as a taser and a pepper spray. A person is set on fire using a flare gun. In one scene, it is implied that a dog is shot, although no animals were harmed.

There are several scenes of gun threat and knife threat, as well as a person briefly being kidnapped. There is an intense storm scene in which it is implied that a man is drowned. Vehicle chases include a car overturning.

Strong language ('f**k') features, as well as milder terms including 'shit', 'bastard', 'hell', 'damn' and 'Jesus'.

There are brief close-up shots of cuts and scars. A man's wound is briefly stitched. There is also brief sight of a man's drowned corpse.

A girl grieves following the death of a family member. There are references to terminal cancer, as well as to terrorism.
