sexual violence and sexual threat
There are references to former film producer Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulting and harassing women. This includes accounts of abuse from multiple victims who describe being groped, sexually coerced, raped and threatened. There are multiple scenes where women recall being lured into Weinstein's hotel room where he would routinely be naked, request mutual massages, force himself on them and in some instances rape them. There are references to victims being bullied into signing unfair settlements, not being believed, and not being welcome back into the film industry because of their abuser. There is a scene of sexual threat where a woman receives an anonymous phone call from a man threatening to rape and kill her. There are references to former female employees of Weinstein being advised to wear puffer coats and avoid sitting in seats where he could sit beside them, and references to him inviting himself to a victim's dinner party in order to intimidate her.
