Characters hold a range of weapons when hoping to chase away a monster. There are also scenes of slapstick comedy in which characters fall over or are knocked over the head.

Scenes occasionally include jumpy moments and feature spooky images such as characters taking the form of zombies. However, the scariest sequences are always very mild, brief and broken up with moments of comedy. There are also scenes of threat in which characters are either in danger, or run away from a monstrous character but the threat is never overly intense and has a comic tone.

There is an implied use of bad language ('OMG').

There are several burp jokes, as well as comic nudity and an instance of toilet humour.
