An emotionally exhausted mother, unable to control her young son's volatile behaviour, slaps him several times and locks him in his room. A father and his adult son lash out at one another during an argument.

A man's desperate attempts to find money lead him to break in to what he thinks is an empty apartment, but he finds a young child there and restrains him to prevent the boy drawing the attention of others; however, the man has no intention of harming the child. The child's subsequent disappearance with the man causes his parents to fear the worst, but there is a reassuring outcome.

Infrequent very mild bad language includes uses of 'damn' and 'hell'.

Upsetting scenes are centred on a neurodivergent child who struggles to control his emotions and behaviour in stressful situations, and the effects this has on his parents. There are also scenes of family discord.

There is occasional smoking.
