After hearing she is naked a crowd of male soldiers gathers and excitedly cheers the behaviour on. A man callously slices the bottom of a prisoners foot to make walking through the snow more painful. There is injury detail of dead bodies on WWII battlefields, soldiers and towns-people are engulfed in flames during attacks with explosives and molotov cocktails, and there are references to soldiers killing themselves to avoid being questioned by the enemy.
