The violence is largely confined to a sequence where the prisoners escape from a train and beat up some policemen as they do so. There is a shot of one policeman having his head slammed against a wall with some blood seen trickling from his mouth. Two more policemen are then kicked in the crotch although this is presented in a comic manner.

The film also contains a scene where it is suggested a man has committed suicide by hanging himself. There is no detail seen other than a shot of his dangling feet and this is later revealed to have been a murder.
