Upsetting scenes are centred on a young woman's verbal and photographic documentation of her precarious life in a war zone. The sounds of airstrikes are heard as well as sight of smoke rising from nearby bombed buildings. Photographs show destroyed buildings and neighbourhoods reduced to rubble, and there are brief images of blood on the walls and floor of a residence in the aftermath of an airstrike. A young woman talks in undetailed terms about the deaths of family members and friends, other casualties, the hardships faced by people because of limited food supplies and the effects on her mental health of what she is living through.
