During a prolonged fight sequence, a man is struck across the face with an improvised weapon, resulting in a large blood spurt.

A loan shark threatens a man with violence if he does not repay a sum of money, while another unsympathetic character threatens to poison a man's family. However, these scenes are brief.

Mild bad language ('bloody', 'bastard') is accompanied by even milder terms such as 'moron', 'damn' and 'hell'.

A group of women and girls discuss their own experiences of sexual harassment and assault; this includes verbal references to child sex abuse and grooming. There is a brief flashback sequence depicting a group of men grabbing a lone woman, however, this is devoid of sexual detail. Footage from this assault is posted online and the victim is blamed over her choice of clothing. During a flashback sequence, a predatory figure abuses his position of authority and attempts to convince a student to sleep with him. Sexual violence is clearly not condoned by the work as a whole.
suicide and self-harm
A character stands on a ledge during a suicide attempt, however, other characters quickly and reassuringly intervene. There are also visual and verbal references to suicide, including character speculating that a murder has been falsely staged as suicide.
