Several scenes show a person being hanged. A man’s earring is ripped out and another man’s head is repeatedly slammed in a door, creating spurts of blood. A pregnant woman is kicked in the stomach while trying to defend her husband, leading to an off-screen miscarriage. Further violence includes gunfire, a stabbing, crunchy beatings and fist fights, and use of improvised weapons such as bottles and furniture. Other scenes contain potentially upsetting references to domestic violence.

Moderate scenes of threat and suspense run throughout.

Bad language includes ‘prick’, ‘shit’, ‘crap’, ‘bloody’, ‘screwed’, ‘piss’ and ‘ass’.

Occasional moderate sex references include verbal references to ‘nudes’, pornography, ‘banging’ and feeling ‘horny’.

A brief sequence shows unidentified pills being added to alcohol.

There are brief non-graphic verbal references to child sex abuse, and to men groping and ‘exploiting’ women and girls. A man leers at an unconscious woman’s exposed midriff after she faints.

Short flashbacks repeatedly show a child discovering the bloodied body of his mother, who has died by suicide off-screen. A hanged murder victim is initially believed to have taken his own life, leading to verbal suicide references in other scenes.

There are occasional bloody flashback images of a dead body in the aftermath of suicide. Moderate injury detail includes sight of a hanging body, and a close-up shot of a fly landing on a corpse’s eyeball.

There are infrequent non-graphic references to miscarriage and abortion. A person vomits due to traumatic memories.
