In one scene horrified villagers find a corpse with a contorted face wedged in a fireplace, and in another scene a dead family - including a boy with a damaged or partially decayed face - are discovered seated around a table. We also see a series of black-and-white photographs of people posing with their deceased loved ones, including children and infants; the dead bodies in the photos appear to be real, but there is no gory detail.
