A man violently subdues the adult daughter of his girlfriend in order to rape her. Two men grab and strip a woman to her underwear, before forcing her into a bedroom where a man states his intention to have sex with her; the woman escapes this encounter but is subjected to further sexual threat when a man kicks and beats her. There are verbal references to rape, sexual assault and sexually abusive behaviour.

There is a bloody stabbing. A woman is kicked and beaten by men on different occasions, one of whom attempts to strangle her. Men threaten a woman, grabbing her forcefully by the hair, and there are scenes of knife threat. A man vigorously kisses and caresses a woman as they roll together on a bed; sex is implied. Characters discuss sex together as they lie in bed, sometimes in states of undress. There are references to sex work, pimps and brothels, and a woman plays poker with men, who are permitted to have sex with her if they win.
