The film features strong violence when a mother fantasizes about slitting her small son's throat, which is shown on screen. There is also a bloody stabbing scene and a strong scene in which a man shoots another in the mouth.

An unlikable character references child sex abuse when he tells a little girl that in some countries she would already be married and 'screwing' her husband. There is strong language ('f**k'). The film film features strong sex which includes thrusting detail, moaning detail and buttock nudity. A woman's eyes turn black during sex and there's brief sight of her grabbing her sexual partner's neck. Scenes in which people make racist and homophobic comments are not endorsed by the film.
