Occasional scenes of violence include people being struck with sticks and a man being punched. There are brief, undetailed verbal references to domestic abuse.

Scenes of threat include a gun placed in a person's mouth, as well as people being held at gunpoint and tied up. The threat is largely played for comic effect.

Bad language includes uses of 'bloody', 'hag', 'damn', 'screw' and 'God'.

It's implied characters appear to be engaging in oral sex, but it is quickly established not to be the case. Comic references are made to extra-marital affairs, and a woman falsely accuses a man of being sexually attracted to animals.

A woman fears she will be killed by her boyfriend's father due to her caste. People also express discriminatory attitudes over an alleged same-sex relationship. However, discrimination is clearly not endorsed by the film as a whole.

There is a passing, comic reference to someone being "high".
