Past Life

Women are killed in their homes by an intruder. Violence includes stabbings, knife slashings, and strangulation. Fight sequences feature choking, the use of improvised weapons, and blunt-force beatings. In one scene, a character's throat is slashed and another's hand is struck with a hammer. There are also detailed verbal references to murder and its aftermath.

Two journalists are held captive by terrorists in a war zone. Horror imagery and jump scares occur throughout. A man experiences supernatural events, including seeing reanimated corpses, hearing voices, and witnessing a series of gruesome occurrences.

Strong language includes use of 'f**k'; milder terms include 'bastard', 'shit', 'bollocks', 'ass', 'piss', 'Jesus', 'Christ', 'God, 'hell', 'damn' and 'screw'.

There are occasional mild sex references and innuendo.

Women are targeted by a voyeuristic killer. This includes occasions where they are watched in the shower, are tied up, and sexually threatened.

Blood spurts feature during and in the aftermath of violence. There is also sight of corpses, crime scene imagery and wound detail of cuts and burns.

A man suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder in the aftermath of a kidnapping. There are also themes of bereavement and scenes of emotional upset.
